CarPlay issues in iOS 26 - Music app in particular

Anyone else experiencing issues with Music app under CarPlay in 26.1 and 26.2? I'm encountering three issues:

1) CarPlay occasionally crashes while music is playing - never experienced that before with prior versions

2) Scrolling within music app is janky, especially when scrolling between categories (e.g., recent items). Often will skip through rows / items when I use the jog wheel in car

3) Fast forwarding from steering wheel occasionally breaks or is inconsistent - fast-forwarding used to just jump to next track and immediately play that track. Now sometimes it plays but other times playing is paused (i.e., it will jump to the beginning of next track but not start playing until someone hits "play") and other times it does absolutely nothing and I have to go through the screen to fast forward. Probably works normally / the way it used to 80% of the time

FWIW, while I recently moved from an iPhone 14 Pro Max to an iPhone 17 Pro Max, these issues started upon my upgrading the iPhone 14 to 26.X and have continued with the new phone. Car is the same.
