Beat Detection crash Final cut 12, on minimum timeline zoom, Mac OS 15.7.3 (24G419)
Turn beat detection on only when the track is not fully visible on the timeline; zoom the timeline in, and it will stop crashing. So far this is the only way I can get it to work.

If the library was corrupted, you can open a backup of the library from a date/time prior to the corruption. By default, backups are stored inside your ~/Movies/Final Cut Backups/ folder.
FCP crashes as soon as I turn on beat detection, and one of my libraries, where I've turned on the feature, is now unopenable.
