Ios 26.2.1 says unable to verify update…on my phone have downloaded the software but can’t install it….why please

Use Wi-Fi with no VPN and no anti-virus. Or use 5G cellular data if you have set:
Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Data Mode = “Allow More Data on 5G”.
And be certain your iPhone is charged an absolute minimum of 50%.
