How do I update apps using my current Apple Account?

I have two accounts, JV1 (old) and V3 (new). I have logged into my current account V3 both in Settings and the APP store. When accessing the APP store to purchase or update before progressing it tells me to enter my password for my old account JV1 and sends the passcode to my old phone number.

Why is this happening and how do i change it?

Apps are associated with a particular account. The standard solution in your situation is to delete the apps downloaded with the old account and get them with the new account. This may entail purchasing them again and possibly losing data and in-app purchases.

Alternatives are:

- Learn about what purchases and associated content can be migrated between two accounts. —> About migrating Apple Account purchases between accounts - Apple Support
