Image playground cannot be removed from macOS desktop

If you meant " desktop " as in your computer

As has been mentioned by another contributor

Image Playground was installed as Part of the Operating System

It can not be removed for deleted - full stop

The macOS operating system resides in a sealed and read-only volume that can’t be opened by user ( you ) or third-party applications.

Has the user ( you ) gone to the Applications folder

Control Clicked ( Secondary clicked ) on the Image Playground application

Then created an Alisas

Then dragged the Alisas onto the Desktop

To Test this idea

I have made a Alias for Image Playground and moved the alias to the desktop of my computer

Does your Image Playground on your Desktop look much like mine ?

If Yes, just drag the Alias of Image Playground to the Trash ( Bin )

Image Playground is baked into macOS Tahoe and can't be removed.
