There is a problem with the update. Apple is aware. It may be mid next week before the issue is resolved.
Meanwhile, you need to delete the update if it has been downloaded to your iPhone. Post back if you are not sure how to do this.
How do I now know when the issue has been resolved, and I can successfully update the iOS?
Nothing official from Apple that I can find. Will post to this thread when that occurs.
In the meantime, no harm in trying again in a few days. Worst case, you will have to delete the update again if it does not install correctly.
iOs 16 is the most recent available for the X model.
iPhone X currently running ios 16.7.12 and has pending ios update 16.7.13.
When I click Install update, I receive message Verifying Update, which fails with message "Unable to Verify Update".
Whe I attempt to install the update from iTunes connected to windows PC, I receive message "iPhone could not be updated. Unknown Error (3194)
I have tried multiple times.
I have removed and re-installed iTunes, but still get the same result.
Hoe can I updae the ios o iPhone?
I have deleted the update, but the iPhone is still showing that the update is Available.
I would expect that, if this is a known problem with Apple, the update would not be available until the issue is resolved.
I have the same issue on iPad.
How do I now know when the issue has been resolved, and I can successfully update the iOS?
