iphone 17 bleutooth wil not connect with device it finds the device but cannt connect because it is not in power but other iphones can connect?

Many devices only allow pairing with one phone at a time. My amplifier will not connect to my phone if my ipad was at some time connected, even if no longer connected. I have to press the Reset button on the amplifier.
