IPhone 14 back camera and flashlight not working: Not an software issue only hardware sensor failure but I want to know the root cause of this failure, no physical damage, or dropped within 2years of time how this was happened: apple Icare estimated cost for replacement is 16900😳

Hi, this is not Apple Support. Apple and Apple Support do not participate here. Everyone posting and commenting are fellow Apple users, just like you. You would have to contact Apple Support and send the device in for service. Once the defective part is removed there is a possibility that a cause could be determined. I’m not sure what the cost of such a service would be or if Apple would even analyze your part. It’s an unusual request. The repair personnel are not engineers and unless the damage was obvious, service would have no idea of the root cause.

Hello~ The iPhone 14 was released in 2022. Lots of things can cause damage even vibrations from a motorcycle for instance. Intense heat or cold and water damage could be at play. Also dust and debris can cause issues. Things happen and you will need to have it repaired or purchase a new iPhone.
