Magnetic pop socket directly onto back of iPhone (without a case)

Can you safely use a magnetic pop socket directly on the back of iPhone 14 Pro (not using a case)? Will it stick? Is it likely to scratch the back of the phone? Does the magnet damage the phone operation?

I use MagSafe accessories all the time (I have a MagSafe protective case).

However, you should be fine.

If you are concerned, then simply wipe the back with a lint-free cloth.
