How do I fix music app crashing when playing Apple Music on MacBook Pro?

i've a MacBook pro 2012 with Catalina 10.15.7.

the Music app keeps crashing on me. whether i'm streaming from my apple music subscription, or playing music that actually exists on my HD, the app will play one song then crash/quit, either at the end of the song or sometimes at the beginning of the next song. if i just play one song at a time, it's crashes when the song ends. but if i sign out of my apple music account and just play the music on my computer there is no problem. this started three days ago and is super annoying. the error log is attached. please help;)
