Seeing SMS Messages After iOS 26 Updates:
A. Start with a Restart:
Go Here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
B. Uninstall Security Software:
Some Security Software contain filters. So, remove them.
C. Turn Off "AirPlane Mode":
- Go to: Settings
- Toggle Off: AirPlane Mode
D. Have a Strong Cellular Signal Strength.
Given this was having excellent experience before this, and that you are in the same location, signal strength should not be of concern here.
E. Contact yur Carrier:
If Messages are still not appearing intact you Carrier, as they provide the service of messaging.
F. Report this to Apple...
So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.
- Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
- Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
- Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
- Proceed from there as necessary
