How to recover iPhone to original state after forgetting passcode?

I forgot my iPhone passcode. I connected to my MacBook but it's not showing iPhone connected . how can I recovery the iPhone to original state?

Hello,

Start here:

If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen 

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled
