Safari won’t show details of unsecure website

safari won’t Connect to a IP-adressen that has it’s OWN local ssl connection and certificate, i get a screen where I should be able to click on show details on iOS 26.2.1 but I can click on it but nothing happends. The back button does work but the other doesn’t. It is a NAS and i need to login, i can do it through http but not with https.

what is the solution for this???

Check for NAS firmware updates for this unspecified NAS, as a starting point.

What is the hostname used in the self-signed certificate?

Also ensure the previously-mentioned not-secure-warning setting is off:

To access the website and its certificate, use Show Details here:

Which gets:

Where you can both view the certificate, and can override the warning to visit the website.

Which visiting gets you the following last warning:

If the Show Details / Visit this Website path is not working, remove any add-on VPN apps and any add-in security apps, force-restart the iPhone, and try again.

The self-signed certificate is probably using a .local domain, but some boxes can be quite creative with what they use. And hosts can get renamed and certs not regenerated, and name services can go walkabout, too.

Above images and tests are from iPadOS 26.2.1.

There are too many reasons for a secure sockets layer communication failure to describe separately. Most likely, the NAS device manufacturer has instructions for creating a self-signed certificate. Contact them for support, or methodically exhaust all the suggestions in the following:

If Safari doesn't work as expected on Mac - Apple Support

Most of those reasons are mundane and trivial, but the failure you are encountering is due to one or more of the less mundane ones.
