When trying to access Apple TV, I often asked my password, again and again.

Please note that passwords are case sensitive, so for keyboard devices, check that Caps Lock isn’t active accidentally.
Had an advisor who said to close done the app and put it back in. Sounded ridiculous. No other streaming service puts me thru this.
Was that an advisor from T-Mobile, or Apple, or somewhere else entirely?
Signing out and signing in again has been effective for some users to overcome sign-in troubles.
Deleting and reinstalling the app has been effective for some users to overcome sign-in troubles.
It is not supposed to happen at all, but when it happens, starting over from a clean slate can sometimes help.
