When should I replace my battery based on capacity?

Question: When should I consider switching my battery? ( As in battery capacity)

Good practice for battery's health on all your IOS device:


Setting>Display & Brightness> Brightness bar should be half way or less

Same section lower Auto-Lock>The less the better 30 seconds to 2 minutes are the best choice(Never put it to Never)

Setting>General>Background app refresh>Turn it off completely as app update when you open them you don't need them to update in the background each seconds of the day.


Those settings will help your battery's health in the long run!

Good news. You probably have another 9-10 months remaining on your current battery.


New battery will be about $100 (U.S.) at the Apple Store / Genius Bar or an authorized Apple service shop. If you don't have a conveniently located Apple Store, an authorized shop can handle the battery replacement.
