Apple Account Balance Daily Limit
I just tried to add several apple gift cards to my Apple Account. When I tried to add cards in excess of $2,000 I was told that $2,000 was the daily limit. Is it safe to assume I will be able to add the additional cards tomorrow?
Also, can I assume the $2,000 daily limit does not apply to purchases?

The only thing I can find by Apple is: Payment, Financing, Refunds and VAT - Shopping Help - Apple
which does not mention a limit. On the other hand I have links to 6 other threads through the years where others mention a $2,000 daily limit.
I myself winced when I saw your post. I have also see multiple threads where some people say they have run afoul of Apple's fraud/misuse detection system by trying to make big dollar purchases with gift cards. In theory there is nothing against it but the system might be sensitive. In your position I would to go to an Apple Store in person to make your purchase.
I just thought it was weird because I was adding money to my account, not trying to buy anything. I’ll try and add the remaining cards tomorrow. If I run into problems I’ll reach out to Apple.

I was just saying that proactively for when you do ultimately buy something. The $2,000 limit seems to be some unwritten rule. I seem to recall there is also being an absolute limit you can have as balance but I'd have to find a reference to that.
