iCloud did it's own thing.

Somehow, too much info went to iCloud. how do I remove from iCloud all except Mail & Passwords without removing anything from my computer and set it not to do that anymore? Thank you!

iCloud settings are at

System Settings>[name]>iCloud

like this:


You can click on each section and turn it on or off.


In iCloud Drive, if you have Desktop & Documents turned on, then you should see this:

Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive - Apple Support

Near the bottom it discusses turning off D&D.


I'd turn off Desktop & Documents first, then move stuff from the iCloud Drive D&D folders to the User folders. Then turn off Drive.
