Brother Printer Not Keeping Wi-Fi Connection

mac os tahoe 26.2 MacBook Pro (M4 Max) not keeping wifi connection with brother printer (DCP-L2640DW). i've tried turning off/on the printer. i've tried turning off both the MacBook Pro & the brother printer. I've pulled out plugs, waited 30 seconds and plugged back in, I checked Network settings on the printer, yes it was connected to my wifi network.I've done searches on Google but finding little on the subject. Anyone having or had a similar experience after updating to 26.2?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
