How to retroactively edit completed date in Reminders?

For reminders app, How can I edit completed date retroactively?

Context: I did the task yesterday but only marked it completed to today (clicked the radio button). At Completed list, I want to edit and show it as Completed yesterday.

In the Reminders app on iPhone, you cannot change the completion date of a reminder.

Whenever you mark it done, Reminders always stamps it as “Completed Today”—even if you actually completed it 5 days ago.

No hidden toggle. No long-press magic. No “trust me, Apple, I finished it earlier” option.

Editing Completed Reminder Date Retroactively:

Not so certain I am following you post by your use of the word "retroactively". So, fiddle with the dates, and see if that fixes this...

A. Locate the Completed Reminder:

Change the due date of the Reminder to the date and time you have set the this is to be closeted by.

B. Mark as Incomplete:

Change the Reminder's due date to the correct past date. Then mark it completed again.
