iPhone 16 mic not working with apps & Siri after update

Good morning, after installing the latest update on my iPhone 16, the microphone function associated with apps and Siri no longer works. Specifically, "Hey Siri" activates but then waits for the question as if I hadn't asked anything. The same goes for apps that require the microphone: it can see that “hear” the sound, but it doesn't understand it.

If you have a hearing or sound issue on your device then please try some of these processes to set it right

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support
