Is anyone else having charging issues with iOS26.2?
iOS26 liquid was detected
iOS26.2 it’s not even registering I’ve plugged the charger in until I do a force reset then it works.
Practically brand new iPhone 16 pro max no damage, battery at 97%
I recommend service.

Apparently, you got liquid in the charging port. You may have permanently damaged it. make an appointment at the Genius Bar.

No it is not a general problem, though I expect some me too's on here.
I saw someone post about an iPhone 12 with the same issue after updating to iOS26 😩 just unplugged my phone because it was charging after the forced reset and now it won’t charge again. No doubt another force reset it will start charging again. I had 0 issues before this update. Wish I hadn’t bothered now lol
