Where to buy genuine Apple Lightning to 3.5mm adapter in india?

Hi everyone,

I use an iPhone with a Lightning port and need the original Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter for my wired earphones and car AUX. I’ve noticed many adapters online are cheap duplicates that stop working after iOS updates or show “Accessory Not Supported.”

Does anyone know reliable places to buy the genuine Apple Lightning to 3.5mm adapter (not a third-party knockoff)? I’m based in India and would prefer options with verified authenticity and good delivery. Thanks in advance!

Yes, Apple has stopped making it, that is true.

But it is still available in some stores.

I found it here and ordered from this website:

I received an original product along with a proper bill

If you are in Mumbai, you can visit and get it from this store. They are based in Andheri West.

They also provide shipping all across India.I hope this helps.

Apple did manufacture the Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter earlier. It is now marked as EOL (End of Life) in many regions, which is why it’s no longer listed prominently on Apple’s official store.

The original Apple part number for this adapter is:

MMX62ZM/A

It was designed and sold directly by Apple and includes Apple’s own DAC chip for audio conversion. While Apple has shifted focus to USB-C and wireless audio, genuine stock of this adapter still exists with trusted retailers.

MFi certification applies mainly to third-party accessories, but this particular adapter was an Apple-manufactured accessory, not a third-party product.

"was" is the keyword there and you will no longer be able to purchase it from Apple. If you happen to find it at another location is anyones guess, but it certainly is no longer being manufactured by Apple. It was discontinued in November 2024, so the chance of finding one that was just sitting on a store shelf for over a year is slim. Not impossible, just not likely.

So, you posted a pic from the website that was linked by Iphoneman98 and in the Reviews for the product you are listed as the Store Manager providing feedback to those users, and asking where you can find this product. Forgive me, but it just appears that you looking to advertise your own website on a Support Site. And ironically, the newly created Iphoneman98 user account has only responded to this post.
