Apple Music songs grayed out after Time Machine restore
My son deleted the all of the songs from our family Apple Music library before re-formatting his old MacBook Pro to be sold. Good intent terrible execution. This deleted all songs from all our families machines that shared the library. Fortunately, I have a recent Time Machine backup. Did the restore with the help of many threads in this forum and all went well. The entire library shows (some playlists are missing but I'm sure I can get that fixed) but I have a large number of songs that are grayed out. If I go to the info section for any of the grayed out songs and look at file location it shows "Cloud Status = waiting, Location = Cloud". Even weirder - If I go to a grayed out song and click on "show in itunes store" it goes to iTunes right song wrong artist (these are mostly classical pieces) and shows a price for the song when I have an Apple One subscription. I've tried resyncing, have logged out/in to my iCloud acct, and feel that I've tried every recommendation on the web. I would welcome any and all help!!
