Lost Pages document from iCloud Drive after sync issue

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help or escalate this.

I had a large Pages document (a book manuscript) stored in iCloud Drive which was being edited across my iPhone and MacBook Air. After an apparent iCloud sync issue, the document has completely disappeared.

• It is not in Pages on any device
• It is not in Recently Deleted (on my iPhone, MacBook Air or iCloud.com)
• iCloud Drive is enabled and syncing normally
• my iCloud does not have full storage and never has.
• The file was present and edited recently

I believe the document may still exist server-side (orphaned or detached from the Pages container) or in extended version history.

Is there a way for Apple Support to check iCloud Drive backend/document version history beyond user-visible Recently Deleted, or escalate this to iCloud engineering for recovery?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance as this document is extremely important to me.
