Apple Music will not play songs.

Apple Music will not play any songs or Apple playlists in the new tab or in my music library. I have updated to the most current IOS system, restarted, logged out of my MacBook Pro M1, and the only songs it plays are songs imported from the Files app or songs that were purchased. Please help. It is not a speaker or bluetooth issue, other devices connect and Youtube plays.
