Can I recover lost phone photos with iCloud auto-backup?

“I lost my phone a few days ago, and I’m not sure if the photos from the last few days were backed up. My auto-backup was on—can I still recover those photos from iCloud?

Sorry, but if the photos did not get synced to iCloud Photos, they are lost.

If you use iCloud Photos, the iCloud backup does not contain the photos:

Did you log into iCloud.com on a computer with your Apple Account and check which are the latest photos in the Photo App in iCloud?

In case they have been saved, you can transfer them to your computer:

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support

Yes, I did but I cannot find my last few days photos which I wanted. How can I get that?
