iPad Air auto-locks with MDM on external display

I have an iPad Air running iOS 26.2.1. I have an MDM which I need to keep for work which removes the Auto Lock “Never” option. The issue I have is when I watch any kind of video or streaming service on an external monitor, which I do frequently, the iPad goes to sleep every 5 minutes. It doesn’t do that when watching on the native display.

Any help would be appreciated.
