Google Sheets on iPad Air M2

Using iPad Air M2 iOS 26.2.1, with keyboard linked via Bluetooth, and using Google Sheets. Trying to increase decimal places in highlighted column: get stuck when I want to enter (eg) 1.9 to 1.10, or 1.5 to 11.50. Column is to enumerate entries in genealogy listing.

No top Toolbar appears when I open my Sheet file; when I press at top of screen, only limited options appear but don’t stay visible: option for “Format” gives only choice of two text formats. Tried using “Esc” key suggested in very old post but nothing happens.

How can I get full Toolbar visible and staying on screen?

How can I increase the decimal places for data in highlighted column? Maybe don’t use ‘dot’ to separate numerals?
