2005 or 2006 MacBook power connector overheating, EU replacement?

I have a MacBook from 2005 or 2006, and I need a new power supply, the old one just feels super hot to touch, it would just burn if I touched it for a second or more.

The part that gets too hot is the connector that attaches into the computer.

I bought this in the Netherlands in either 2005 or 2006, but I'm now living in Germany, so where in the EU can I buy something for such an old MacBook?

The part that gets too hot is the connector that attaches into the computer.

That is a significant clue. Carefully inspect the connector on the charger cable and the port on the computer. Heating in those specific areas can be caused by dirt/lint/corrosion accumulating in the port or on the connector. A cleaning may solve your issues at no cost.

If you still need a new PS, most of my sources for old Mac parts are in the US.. If may be more useful to ask about sellers of used/pulled Mac parts in Apple's German-language community forums here:

I had a look at the first couple of results on that link, and they were from a company called "RigSmart Shop", so I searched the internet for any business called "RigSmart" there is only one, and they specialize in oil rigs for the oil and gas sector which is nothing to do with power supplies for a MacBook.

It just seems risky to hand over money to a company that doesn't exist.
