Turn off photo zoom/movement effects on iPhone 15 Plus

How do you turn off photo effects causing zoom and background movement iPhone 15 plus version 26.2

I may not know what zoom you're talking about. The "zoom" like effect I was thinking of is "Spatial" where the pictures pretends to be 3D.


One place to look is in Settings>Accessibility which offers all kinds of clever adjustments. There's a section called "Motion," for instance, that has a "Reduce Motion" option which affects OS-wide 3D type effects and other "enhancements." I don't know that will help what you're seeing.


In Settings>apps>Photos there is an "Auto-Play Motion" that I have turned off. This controls those automatic slideshow movies that come up.


Can you describe the zoom you're seeing? Is this the thumbnail zooming into the full screen view?
