Magic Trackpad is jumpy and erratic on iMac 24-inch

iMac 24" Tahoe 26.2 bought Dec 2025. Just started getting an issue with the Magic Trackpad, on Bluetooth it's jumpy and erratic. When connected by cable it's much smother, but not as good as it has been.

I have looked at community suggestions, but nothing has worked to rectify the issues.
