Issue with Apple Watch Ultra 3

Getting cannot authorize gmail account error message when adding it to apple watch ultra 3 running watch os 26.2.1 after resetting and unpairing and removing gmail account from iphone

Apple watch app keeps telling me when I try to add in mail settings and trying to sign in with gmail account that authorization failed and please try again

My apple watch is running Watch os 26.2.1 and my iphone is running ios 26.2.1

So my question is is this a bug in watch os 26.2.1 because my account was singed into before I reset and un paired my watch and deleted the watch app and reinstalled?
