I got a new iPhone and it can't connect with iCloud, because it keeps asking me about the passcode for some old iPhone 6 that I forgot that I had a long time ago. I also have new work Mac - same thing. What do I do?
go to iPhone, Settings, [tap your name], see if the iphone 6 is still on the list, and remove it.

if you mean appleID password then read If you forgot your Apple Account password - Apple Support
I did it, but the result is the same - it still requires validation.
