macOS Battery widget not showing Magic Mouse battery

macOS battery widget does not display all blue tooth-connected battery status.

Connected Apple keyboard - works, appears and shows correct status.

Connected Apple Magic Touchpad - works, appears and shows correct status.

Connected Apple Magic Mouse - does not appear in the battery widget.

The promise of the widget, which is displayed once you add the widget, says: "shows status of your mac and the connected blue tooth devices".

However, this promise is not fully met, yet.

Any guidance to get the Magic Mouse being displayed in the widget is welcome. Thanks.
