Ringer & Alarm issues since new update

Try going to the Watch app > Notifications > Alarms and re-enable “Mirror iPhone,” and also check the Flame icon on both your iPhone and Apple Watch to see if it’s blocking the alarm. Some people have also resolved the issue by restarting both devices and updating to the latest WatchOS, as this bug seems to be related to a recent update.

“Ringer & Alarm issues since new update

Is anyone else having issues where their ringer isn’t working on their phone since the new update? If I’m wearing my Apple Watch it won’t ring to either device but if my Apple Watch is charging, the phone ringer will go off. Both devices have the volume on and all the way up. It’s also happening if my alarm is going off on my phone and I’m wearing my watch. This was not an issue before I updated my iPhone 17 pro max yesterday“

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Ringer and Alarm issues are not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.
