Apple Watch not charging after months of disuse

Is my apple watch charging? I dont know if it could be broken as I haven't charged it since about september or October last year

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 11

The red lightning bolt indicated the watch has detected the charging puck. However, it also seems to indicate the watch's battery is completely drained.


It may take a while until the watch has enough energy to power on. Let it charge and power on itself when it reaches a sufficient charge.
