An update from what?

Kind of need to know what version you're running in order to be able to say if there's a new version.

Also be aware that the version of Numbers is loosely tied to the OS version you're running, so even if there is a newer version, it may not be available to you if you're running a really old OS version.

For the record, there are two 'current' versions of Numbers, version 14.5 and 15.1

15.1 is considered part of Apple's Creator Suite and includes a number of online and AI-based tools. Otherwise it's functionally identical to 14.5, which itself is a minor update from 14.4 which was released in the middle of 2025. The only change between 14.4 and 14.5 seems to be the latter's awareness of 15.1 and it will post an 'do you want to update to 15.1?' message when you launch.

There might not be an update available for Mac OS 15.7. I don't know what level of Mac OS is required for Numbers 14.5 or 15.1. If the OS is too old, you cannot upgrade to the latest version(s).

Judging by the App store no longer serving up the iWork version of Numbers to new users, I'm guessing the iWork version will be sunsetted and we'll all be moving to the new Creative Suite version soon if we want to stay current with updates.
