iPad is displaying very inaccurate and wrong GPS location after updating to 26.2.1

My iPad has started (apparently out of the blue) to think I'm in a totally different continent (example: US based but displays somewhere in Brazil). Date&time, weather, and every GPS service display the same thing.

I've tried everything to try and fix it,apart from factory reset and also avoiding the hassle of downgrading to a previous os version. Restarting fixes it for a while but it eventually goes back to the same wrong location.

No VPN involved, restarted home wifi, manually turned on and off location permissions for every app...

What else can I try? iPad M2, 11", current OS is 26.2.1
