iPad Pro 2024 screen broken, displaying gray and strips

Good evening, everyone! I'm facing such a problem that the matrix on my iPad Pro 2024 is broken. How it happened: I put my iPad on the pillow and put it on charge and left for 5 minutes, when I came back, half of the screen was gray.

After a small tap, everything was reduced to 1 strip for the entire screen. The repair department said that it could have happened from contact with water, falling or pressing hard, but I didn't do anything like that at that moment. At most, I assume that my cat could have jumped or stepped on it, but when I returned, the cat was not next to the iPad. I had moments when I fell asleep on it or dropped it, but there was no damage after that. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
