OS 26.2 in the iMac 2020 intel Core i5 and the identity app eID 1.0.1 gives no result using the eID identification
The eID viewer is working
Maybe there is a solution

That eID app, available in the App Store, does not appear to have been attended since 2020. The version history states that support for Apple Silicon was added 5 years ago.
it also lists macOS 10.13 High Sierra as minimum system requirement.
I don't believe the app is being supported by the developer.
I would suggest you contact the developer directly for guidance, IF you can find contact info for them.
