watch display doesn't turn off when I am not wearing the watch.

watch display doesn't turn off when I am not wearing the watch. On 26.2.1. I think an update may have caused this, it used to work fine days ago.

So I remove the watch from my hand, display turns off, then I put it to charge, display turns on. Then I turn of the charger's power switch, display stays on forever. Even if I remove the watch from the charger the display stays on. I try putting it sideways, display still on, eventually if I move it around a bit the display turns off but not sure what causes this.

It sounds like your Apple Watch's Always On feature may be stuck to On. Please try the steps in the link below and try turning it off.

If it is already set to Off, then try restarting your watch.
