How do I remove posters from my contacts in iOS26?
Deleting the contact and making a new contact, defaults to the hated poster

If someone has chosen their own poster for themself on their iPhone, that is how it will appear in your contacts and it's not something you can change.

Sorry, but that horse has left the barn. No way to revert to it.
when u add a picture to a contact it ends up as a poster. if you don’t know change the picture for one of your contacts

Honestly, no, and frankly I don’t care. Huge non-issue as far as I’m concerned.

i am not talking about seeing a poster when i am called. i am talking about me adding a picture to a contact on my phone, what turns into a poster on my phone. i just want my nice round picture back that used to be part of the info of my contact.
What do you mean by "poster?" Can you please provide more detail?
