Can't pinch to zoom out on iPhone Photos app library anymore?

Pinch to zoom out on iPhone Photos app in the Library seems to have been removed, does anyone know how to fix it? I used to be able to zoom out to see months and years but now it caps out at 5 photos across. I submitted feedback to see if this can be fixed by Apple. I am on the newest update of 26.2.1 on iPhone 16 Pro
