Getting Back into Mac Login Screen:
So, what do you see on your screen? Have you been able to enter the password of your Mac?
1. Restart with the Power Button:
If this is stuck after a restart, then power this off(by holding your finger down on the button, and then see if it gets you anywhere from there.
2. Unplug All External Devices:
Power off the Mac, and then unplug all external devices. Boot up once more
3. Run First Aid in Recovery Mode:
Boot in Recovery Mode, and then click Disk Utility from the top menu. Select each partition, and then click First Aid.
4. Boot in Safe Mode:
If this does not work, then do the same boot your Mac in Safe Mode.
5. Reinstall the macOS:
If that does not work, then try reinstalling the macOS.
6. Once Back In:
Create a Time Machine Backup for Recovery Reasons:
Once back in, I would recommend that you create a Time Machine Backup of your Mac to an external Hard Drive. That way, you can have something to restore it from, should anything go wrong after the install.
