Apple TV Continue Watching list and watch list history disappeared for migrated Apple accounts

The Apple TV app’s continue watching list is now blank except for one purchased show which wasn’t in list. Also my watch history is missing and the list of channels in the side bar is missing as well. The watchlist is basically read only as I can’t remove that one item or add anything new to the list.


I found a thread on Reddit with people complaining of the same issue. All seem to have migrated Apple accounts as do I. https://www.reddit.com/r/appletv/s/ZGdJvDe1JA


I contacted Apple support and spoke to somehow who said they found an open “missing watch history” engineering ticket. She said she’d add my case to the ticket, but the call disconnected while I was talking to the person and they didn’t call back.


Anyone else having problems?

Count me in regarding the Apple TV app (v.1.6.2.57)

However while I did merge my accounts the "forgetting" problem seems to have appeared recently, perhaps after upgrading to Tahoe.

In essence: 1- a show does not get added to my Watchlist after clicking the circled + sign.

2- the player does nor resume from where it left off

3- watched episodes are not indicated as such; "Play 1st episode" is always shown.
