My iPhone 11 is saying it is being remotely controlled what do I do

iPhone 13, iOS 26

This is extremely unlikely without your permission, however if you are worried about it...and be absolutely certain this is not just a scam message... you can do this...


Ensure you have a large iCloud data plan equal to the size of your phone.

Make sure that everything is sync'd to iCloud, ie photos, documents, utilities like contacts and calendar. Leave it a few days to sync if you only just set it up.


Then erase all content and settings and set the phone up as new without resort to a backup.


This is risky stuff so be sure you are not being scammed
