iPhone 14 Pro Black Screen After iOS 18.2 Update
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my iPhone 14 Pro. My device was working perfectly until I updated to iOS version 18.2. Two to three days after the update, I woke up to find my iPhone hanging. I tried restarting it, but after that, it never turned on again and now only shows a black screen.
I have tried every possible solution, including force restarting and charging, but nothing has worked. I purchased my iPhone in 2022, and unfortunately, it is no longer under warranty. I visited an Apple Store, and they informed me that the only solution is to replace the motherboard, which would cost around ₹50,000—almost half the price of the phone itself.
I am devastated, as I bought this iPhone with my hard-earned money and it stopped working suddenly, without any fault on my part. I am seeking advice and support from the community, and I hope Apple can address this issue, as it seems unfair for a premium device to fail so soon after a software update.
