iPhone Spatial Image: Ghosting in Preview when splitting

When I go into Preview to split a Spatial Image into left and right eye photos, the image produced by the ultra wide camera (2.22mm) for the right eye shows "ghosting", a ghost image that matches the image produced by the wide camera (6.765mm) for the left eye. Is this an error? Is it fixable? I'm using a iPhone 17 Pro, and I am trying to use the photos to create wigglegrams and anaglyphs.
