iPhone Not Receiving App Store Verification Codes

"iPhone Not Receiving App Store Verification Codes: I can't get verification codes on my iPhone for the App Store. I get a notification that says 'Codes are not currently being sent to this number.' However, the device is valid on my computer and when I log in from a computer, I receive a 6-digit verification code on my mobile number. This means that the number is also active, but when updating in the appstore, SMS codes are not sent to the phone number. Please help me solve the problem. I can't update any apps on my device"

Not Getting 2FAs from Apple Server:

I was having a similar issue earlier this morning. Resetting my Network Settings, Deleting All VPNs did the fix.

A. Resetting Network Settings:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Transfer or Reset iPhone
4. Tap: Reset
5. Tap: Reset Netwrok Settings
6. Enter your Passcode

B. Deleting VPNs:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: VPN & Device Management
4. Tap: the white-encircled "i" info icon next to the VPN
5. Select: Delete VPN

You may want to check whether you are signed in correctly to your iPhone using the same Apple Account details you use for the App Store: Sign in to your Apple Account on the web or in your device settings - Apple Support

Your iPhone 17 may need updating to the most recent iOS version (we can't guess which version is installed)

You can check for updates in Settings > General > Software Updates,

(Note: is always wise to back up iPhone first, if you choose to update the iOS version)

Else: If already up-to-date (ie: using iOS 26.2.1): You may want to try re-starting your iPhone,

( Re-establishes connections, and more. Often restores order if something is not working as expected.)

Then check whether you can get a verification code directly from the iPhone's Settings.

Verification code not coming
