IOS 26 - AirPrint problems

After update to IOS 26.2 on various apple devices (two iPhones and two iPads) none of the devices will print over WiFi to our printer.

Orbi RBR 850 router firmware V7.2.8.2

Printer Canon TS8150 Firmware 1.120

Printer will print over cable from Windows 11

Printer had been working fine with AirPrint for a couple of years.

Printer has been rebooted and fully reset, including WiFi connection deleted and reset.

Routers have been rebooted.

All Apple devices have been rebooted.

I believe all firmware is newest available

Also tried resetting everything and printing via Virgin Router and encountered the same issues. I suspect, but cannot prove, that the issue occurred with the IOS 26 updates.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Hi Jeff,

Im working between two forums at the moment.

Somebody on the Netgear forum suggested i manually update a version of the firmware from the Netgear support site which didn’t show up from the auto update in the Router Admin panel. This appears to have resolved my issue.

Auto update in the Orbi router admin said no firmware update available V7.2.8.2

Manually forced update from the Netgear support site used V7.2.8.5

After this update all issues resolved themselves.
